Emmaus Baptist Church would like to welcome Pastor Tim Madison and his wife Janet.
Tim grew up in Natural Bridge, Virginia and his wife Janet was born in Kentucky and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. Tim has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education From Virginia Tech, and has earned a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Janet has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Stetson University and a Master of Arts Degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Janet is a teacher in the New Kent County School System.
Tim and Janet have 2 children, Josh and Courtney and 2 Grandchildren. Their son, Josh, is a funeral director at E. Alvin Smalls Funeral Home in Colonial Heights, VA, and their daughter Courtney is a teacher in the New Kent County School System.
Tim began his ministry at Emmaus Baptist Church in February 2021.
Tim has also served as President of the Baptist General Association of Virginia & Moderator of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Virginia. He has served in many different capacities while serving on the Virginia Baptist Mission Board.
Tim is an avid Hokie Football Fan and enjoys spending time with his family and dog, Lucy.
