Lottie Moon / CBF
Our mission ministry for December is an offering for international missions through the Lottie Moon Christmas offering and the CBF offering.
The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® is an annual offering collected by believers around the world to support international missions. The offering was officially named in 1918 by Woman’s Missionary Union in honor of Lottie Moon, the missionary to China who urged churches to start this offering and to give sacrificially.
This offering is unique from other mission offerings in that 100% of gifts provide for missionaries all over the world. It is a valuable part of Southern Baptists' 175+ year history of reaching nations around the globe so that they can know and worship our Lord Jesus Christ (Revelation 7:9).
Your gifts to CBF enable life-changing missions and ministries around the world. The CBF Offering for Global Missions supports all CBF field personnel. For many CBF field personnel, the CBF Offering pays their salary, benefits, ministry and operating expenses. All field personnel receive support from the CBF Offering for health insurance, technology, travel and member care and wellness services.
Disasters strike suddenly. The quickest
way to help is to send money. Trusted
workers network to make sure the
money and other resources are sent
to the most urgent situation quickly.
With your financial gifts you can help meet needs of people on the ground in the spirit of Christ.
There will be envelopes in the pew racks for both offerings. Please designate on your check either “Lottie Moon” or “CBF.” Any undesignated mission offerings will be equally divided between the two. We have set a goal of $1500for these 2 offerings combined. Please participate in one of these offerings to enable missionaries to continue to share the love and message of Jesus Christ in other parts of our world so that they may come to know Jesus as their Saviour and Lord.
